Jesse Huynh Less than a year after their debut, K-pop girl group tripleS announced their first world tour, [Authentic] LOVElution. TripleS is a group that aims to be the “world’s first decentralized K-pop idol group” and is composed of 24 members who rotate within the group and its sub-units. As the tour title states, this is going to be a tour of tripleS’ fourth sub-unit, LOVElution, in the U.S. LOVElution is composed of eight members: Gong Yubin, Yoon Seoyeon, Kaede, Seo Dahyun, Park Sohyun, Jeong Hyerin, Nien, and Xinyu. For their first time touring in the US, they are going to be hitting 10 stops all over the country, starting in the east before heading west and ending in LA.
While tripleS as a group had their debut on February 13, 2023, the sub-unit LOVElution recently made their debut on August 17th with their mini album, LOVElution <ↀ>. The music video for their song, “Girls’ Capitalism,” conveyed a message self-love through their own unique and creative style. The video has gained over 10 million views on YouTube less than 48 hours after its release.
