Lyn Lapid Announces U.S. Tour with Stephanie Poetri

After serving as the opening act on Eric Nam’s There and Back Again U.S. Tour in 2022, Lyn Lapid has announced that she will be embarking on her own headlining tour this year. The to love in the 21st century tour will start in San Diego at the beginning of June, moving east to New York, and then finishing up in Los Angeles at the end of the month.

While she started releasing covers on YouTube in late 2018, it wasn’t until the COVID-19 lockdown that Lyn Lapid gained popularity. She posted one of the verses of her debut single, “Producer Man,” on TikTok, and the video went viral, climbing up to over 50 million views. Following this momentum, the young singer continued posting snippets of the song, before releasing it officially in October 2020. The success of “Producer Man” led to the Filipina American singer’s next single, “In My Mind,” which has been dubbed as the “quiet kid’s anthem.” This follow up song also went viral on TikTok, and currently stands as her most streamed song on Spotify. Her most recent release, “Poster Boy,” came out on April 14th, and the music video was released on April 19th.

Joining Lapid on tour is Stephanie Poetri, an Indonesian singer-songwriter and record producer signed to 88rising. She is best known for her song “I Love You 3000,” which pays homage to the beloved Marvel character, Iron Man. This will be Poetri’s first time as an opening act for a tour.
