In May, metalheads, otaku, and J-rock enthusiasts will come together for an eight-city North American tour headlined by Japanese rock band, Man with a Mission. The five-member group always don wolf masks while performing and recording their music videos, but this distinctive trait isn’t the only interesting part about them. They share an unconventional origin story, in that they became a band after spending years in Antarctica, which gave them time to listen and get inspired by the world’s best songs. As a result, the pack developed their own music style, the foundation for their memorable earworms. Recently, anime fans got a taste of their flavor of rock with Demon Slayer‘s newest opening, “Kizuna no Kiseki.”
