Agust D Announces First World Tour

While BTS is on a hiatus to focus on individual activities, Suga, also known as Agust D, will be embarking on his first solo world tour this year. With more stops to be announced, the self-titled tour will begin in New York at the end of April, before moving west to wrap up the U.S. leg in California mid-May.

Originally an underground rapper, Suga joined Big Hit Entertainment as a producer, before debuting in BTS in 2013. The rapper is credited for writing and producing several of the group’s songs, including “Seesaw,” “Jump,” and “Boyz With Fun.” He was inducted as a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) in 2018. Aside from that, he has also released several solo tracks, including “Agust D” off his first mixtape of the same name, and “Daechwita,” the title track of his second mixtape, D-2. Beyond his music career as a BTS member and soloist, Suga has also worked on several collaboration tracks with artists such as Halsey, IU, Heize, Tablo, and Juice Wrld. Most recently, he teamed up with Psy for the release of “That That,” which ranked on Billboard’s 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2022.
