Last year Georgia-based Korean American artist Hojean (Justin Hojean Yi) completed a U.S. tour that included a stop at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds music festival, and he is returning for a one-night show in Los Angeles in March to showcase new songs and greet fans.
Hojean makes laidback R&B and soul-inspired love pop songs from his home studio. His music is as chill and comfy as his aesthetic, which consists of scrunched up hoodies and unfiltered images of his daily life. One of his earliest songs, “My Love,” was picked up by a popular music curator, which helped him land a record deal and gain a host of new fans. Newer songs such as “Pick Up Your Phone” and “You Feel Like” went viral on TikTok, boosting his rapidly growing popularity.
