Vania Fong Veteran Korean R&B singer Insooni (Kim In-soon) will be performing at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California on Feburary 18, 2023. She debuted in a girl group, Hee Sisters, in 1978, before the advent of K-pop as we know it today. She transitioned to a solo career shortly after, during which she released hit song after hit song like “Each and Every Night,” “Again,” and “Father.” Her cover of “Dream of a Goose” became more popular than the original version by Kim Dong-ryul and Lee Juck, especially when she revisited it in the hit TV program “I Can See Your Voice 2” (2015). The biracial musician has been recognized multiple times by the Republic of Korea Arts & Culture Awards and KBS Awards. With over 40 years of experience, she is one of the few Korean singers to have performed at Carnegie Hall and continues to perform in musicals, solo concerts, and even nightclubs, where her singing career began. In addition to being an extremely accomplished singer, she is also the founder of a school for multiracial children, a competitor in a national bodybuilding championship, and a role model for many.
