As their last show for 2022, The Linda Lindas will be performing at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on December 15th. This show follows a busy year for the band, as they wrapped up their own headlining summer tour and supported several acts on tour such as The Beths and Japanese Breakfast.
The Linda Lindas first began making music together in 2018, but it wasn’t until 2021 that they signed with Epitaph Records and had their first big hit. In May 2021, a video of the girls playing their song “Racist, Sexist Boy” went viral, as it told the story of drummer Mila’s experience with her schoolmate making racist comments towards her before the pandemic. The song quickly gained traction on social media, and eventually led to the group’s rise to fame. Since then, the band has continued their musical journey together, recording songs for the film Moxie and Netflix documentary The Claudia Kishi Club, releasing their single “Oh!” in 2021, and dropping their first official album, Growing Up.
