aespa to Hold One-Night-Only Showcase in Los Angeles

Following their debut U.S. performance at this year’s Coachella music festival, aespa will be performing a one-night-only showcase at Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater on June 26th. The news of their “Showcase SYNK” show comes just days after the group announced their global partnership with Warner Records.

aespa debuted in 2020 with their song “Black Mamba,” which broke records off the bat. Their song became the fastest debut music video to hit 100 million views and brought forth a unique concept to K-pop, with the combination of A.I. and human members. Their 2021 album “Savage – The 1st Mini Album” was the highest ranking for a K-pop girl group’s entry on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. The same EP also hit the number one spot in 20 countries on iTunes upon release.

The four members most recently released a sneak peek track, “Illusion,” as a prelude to their upcoming July 8th release of “Girls – The 2nd Mini Album.” The lead single for the album, “Life’s Too Short,” will also pre-release on June 24th.
