AB6IX Announces AB_New Area Fanmeeting Tour

K-pop boy band AB6IX will embark on a fanmeeting tour AB_New Area this summer. With stops announced in Korea, Japan, and the U.S. thus far, the four members will be heading to the States starting in June on the East Coast and finishing up their tour in July on the West Coast.

While the group officially debuted in 2019 with their first album B:Complete, members of AB6IX attracted attention for their pre-debut activity. Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi were part of Mnet’s competition program Produce 101, and Woojin and Daehwi both finished the show in the top 11 ranking, debuting in temporary group Wanna One in 2017. Once AB6IX formally debuted, they earned ten awards from various awards shows, including the Genie Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards for Next Generation Artist.

Since their successful debut, the group has released eight albums and various collaboration tracks, including a remix of “Truth Hurts” with Lizzo and a remix of “Fallin’ (Adrenaline)” with Why Don’t We. The group was originally slated for a world tour in 2020, but their 6IXENSE tour was cancelled due to concerns with COVID-19. In January of this year, AB6IX released their special album Complete with You, along with title song “1, 2, 3.”
