After staying impressively busy throughout the pandemic, Stray Kids announced their second world tour, Maniac. With more dates to come for other countries, this tour will bring Stray Kids to the U.S. in July, starting on the East Coast in Newark, and moving west to finish in Seattle.
Debuting in 2018, Stray Kids has steadily climbed in popularity as the years have gone by. In their debut year, the group won six rookie awards, including awards from the Asia Artist Awards and the Mnet Asian Music Awards. In 2020, Stray Kids released their Go Live album, with title song “God’s Menu,” along with its repackaged album, In Life. Title song “Back Door” became the only song by a Korean artist to be included in Time Magazine’s 10 Best Songs of 2020. In 2021, the self-produced group participated in Mnet competition show Kingdom: Legendary War, in which they took first place, and even went viral for their Deadpool-themed performance of Blackpink’s “Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du.”
