Mitski Marks her Return to Music with Sold-Out World Tour

After nearly quitting music for good in 2019, Mitski, the indie-rock singer and songwriter adored for her poignant, raw lyrics and genre-bending tracks, marks her return to the music industry with her latest album, Laurel Hell, and world tour. Despite the financial risks of doing a tour during the pandemic, she admits that she “would pay to play,” a testament to her drive to keep making music. Her latest single, “Working for the Knife”, released in 2019, reflects her sense of anguish and purposelessness when she decided to step away from the music scene.

Mitski kicks off her tour in Birmingham, Alabama in February and will be holding 56 performances in the U.S., Canada, and Europe over the next four months, five of which will be openers for Harry Styles. While many of her shows are already sold out, fans can check ticket availability and join waitlists on her official page.
