GROOVL1N Gets Ready to Groove with a U.S. Tour

Originally slated for March, artists from K-hip hop label GROOVL1N will be coming to the U.S. for a tour this May. With the positive news of rescheduled dates, however, comes sad news as well, as originally announced artist Cold Bay will no longer be joining the tour. Nafla, RAVI, and Xydo will be stopping by Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York in a tour that will take them coast to coast to greet their American fans for the first time.

Born and raised in Pasadena, California, nafla explains his stage name is an abbreviation of “natural flavor.” Officially signing on to his previous label in 2015, nafla started off with a strong debut, winning Best Mixtape of the Year 2015 with “This & That,” and even winning the seventh season of Show Me the Money in 2018. nafla is the newest member of the GROOVL1N family, having only joined in December 2020. His latest release, “mobb tang,” came out in September 2021.

RAVI is the CEO of GROOVL1N, and is known widely as the rapper of K-pop group VIXX. Although he has left his previous company and has now established two of his own labels, he still considers himself a member of the group. Prior to his official solo debut in 2017, RAVI participated as a contestant in Show Me the Money 4, though he was eliminated in the second round. Aside from running his labels GROOVL1N and The L1ve, RAVI is consistently producing music. From his days as an active VIXX member, writing and producing for the group, to his solo career now, RAVI has been credited for an impressive 200+ songs on KOMCA (the Korea Music Copyright Association). His most recent EP, “Roses,” released in June 2021, and his most recent single, “ANI (애니),” featuring Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, released in December 2021.

Last but not least is R&B artist Xydo, who joined GROOVL1N at the same time as Cold Bay in 2019. He released his first EP, “X,” in 2020, and his latest EP, “Cycle,” came out in June 2021. Xydo boasts an impressive resume of collaboration tracks, having previously worked with artists such as pH-1, Moonbyul of Mamamoo, and Bumkey. His most recent single, “I (아이),” featuring singer Minseo, released in October 2021.
