Season two of Dramaworld, the hit rom-com series co-produced by Third Culture Content and South Korean production company Raemongraien (RMRI), has just completed production in South Korea. The series follows American college student Claire Duncan (Liv Hewson) who is magically transported to the world of her favorite Korean dramas and becomes embroiled in a variety of fictional conflicts. New cast members joining the show include K-pop star Henry Lau, Korean American actor Daniel Dae Kim and South Korean actress Ha Ji-won, along with other slated cameos from K-pop and K-drama stars.
The bilingual series received widely positive responses and was lauded as a show that “organically blends East and West cultures together,” according to president Sean Dulake of Third Culture Content. Daniel Dae Kim echoed these sentiments, stating that the drama is “the most authentic mix of Hollywood and K-drama” he has seen to date.
Season one of “Dramaworld” was named “Most Popular Foreign Drama of the Year” at the Seoul International Drama Awards and is currently available on Viki with subtitles in 39 different languages.
