In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, One has unsurprisingly postponed his two-stop tour, “PRVT ONLY: NORTH AMERICA.” Originally slated for mid-May, the rapper will instead be making his way to the U.S. in October, although it is possible the dates may be rescheduled again, dependent on the COVID-19 status.
One made his original debut in the K-pop rap duo 1Punch together with now-solo artist Samuel in 2015. The two released one album together before disbanding, and soon after, One signed on to YG Entertainment. From there, he participated in the fourth season of “Show Me the Money,” which is where he garnered a lot of attention until he was eliminated in the sixth episode. Not giving up, One gave it another shot the following year, and ended up placing 10th in “Show Me the Money” season five. One of his songs from the show, “Comfortable,” which was a collaboration between One, Simon D, and Gray, received a perfect all kill on South Korea’s top music charts.
Mid-2019, One departed from YG Entertainment and formed his own one-man company, where he released his first full album, “PRVT01.” The album peaked at number 44 on various charts in Korea.
