YALLWEST, the biggest Young Adult book festival on the West Coast, is returning this spring to Santa Monica, California with an impressive lineup. New Asian American authors such as Julie Dao, (Forest of a Thousand Lanterns) and Gloria Chao (American Panda), joins the large list of attending veteran and board authors like Marie Lu (Warcross), and Melissa de la Cruz (Love and War: An Alexander and Eliza Love Story) at this year’s festival.
The book festival will take place at the Santa Monica High School on May 5th with a special kickoff Preview Night hosted by Fierce Reads at the Santa Monica Public Library. Filled with panels and over 100 authors and presenters, Yallwest is the festival to be at for book signings, meet and greets and a whole load of book-related fun. The event will be free for all attendees with the exception of certain special panels that require reservations.
